The Good Sex Institute is and education intuition with the mission to heal sexual trauma and promote sexual health and wellness through education. We are dedicated to accurate, accessible, and culturally responsive sex education. We design age-appropriate learning for teens, adults, caregivers, and professionals, covering consent, boundaries, digital intimacy, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, relationship and intimacy, and sexual health. Through live and virtual formats, we equip communities with shared language and practical tools that reduce harm and improve sexual well-being.

The first thing I'm always asked is if my name is really Goodie. The answer? Absolutely.
Goodie is more than a name. It is a vibe, a presence, and a promise. Goodie Hendrixson exists to be the fearless, funny, unfiltered voice I needed growing up. The one who could turn awkward topics into aha moments, bring lightness to heavy truths, and make people feel seen, safe, and empowered. I have a past littered with sexual trauma and now I am here to show others how equipping yourself with knowledge can help you heal.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Gender Communications from Kent State University, and I am currently enrolled at the University of Minnesota, pursuing a Master's of Professional Studies in Sexual Health. My academic foundation is just one layer of the work I do, which is blending research, real-life insight, and radical empathy.
I have also spent over a decade in corporate program management and leadership, training teams, facilitating tough conversations, and creating inclusive environments. Along the way, I became a certified sexologist, a workshop facilitator, and a standup comic. I bring all of that into my work to connect with people through laughter, education, and honest storytelling.
Before I ever grabbed a mic, I enlisted into the U.S. Army National Guard. Now, currently serving in the Army Reserves, I have a military career spanning almost 17 years. I bring resilience, adaptability, and grounded leadership into every space I enter. My military experience helps me show up with presence, purpose, and poise.
My goal is to educate, entertain, and get real about the things most people whisper about.
